SYNERGETIC LATTICE FIELD THEORY OVERVIEW
Synergetic Lattice Field Theory (SLFT) presents a new model of elementary particles and space which attempts to fulfill Buckminster Fuller's vision that his "synergetic geometry" [1, 2] represents the actual "coordinate system employed by nature" [3].
SLFT models space as a deformable, discrete, Planck scale lattice that it defines as the "synergetic field"--a unified field from which all physical phenomena arise. SLFT models all the standard model's elementary particles as nothing more nor less than local deformations of this field.

The name of this new model is “synergetic lattice field theory”: “synergetic” because it’s core geometric formulation is derived from Buckminster Fuller’s synergetic geometry, and “lattice field theory” because it describes a discrete field which permeates all of space. The central premise of SLFT is simply that the permutations, local deformations, and dynamics of the universal substratum defined by the synergetic field give rise to all the observed physical phenomena in the universe.
This model is conceptually similar to the vision of a unified field outlined by Einstein and Infeld [4] (albeit in a discrete versus a continuous form) in which there is no distinction between matter and the universal field defined by space itself. In this model all local manifestations of matter and energy, such as elementary particles, are nothing other than distortions of an underlying, all pervading, unified spatial field.
